Jiayen Nomchong holds a Master's in Nutrition and Dietetic Practice and is an Accredited Practising Dietitian. Additionally, she has a Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy, a Bachelor of Clinical Science in Human Nutrition, and a Diploma in Remedial Massage. By integrating all these modalities, Jiayen offers comprehensive and wholistic care, ensuring personalised and effective treatment plans for optimal health and well-being. She delves deeply into each patient’s history and lifestyle to identify the root of the problem, incorporating these insights into every session.

Specialising in gut health and nervous system functions, Jiayen works with a diverse range of clients, including individuals with disabilities and those with multiple medical conditions. Her approach provides comprehensive support, addressing both physical and emotional aspects of health. Jiayen's multidisciplinary expertise allows her to create holistic and evidence-based strategies, enhancing her clients' well-being and empowering them to achieve optimal health both inside and outside the treatment room. A long-term resident of the Northern Rivers, Jiayen loves being outdoors, cooking, and being active with her family.

Medicare Referrals / Private Health Rebates

  • Medicare Referrals for Dietetic Services: If your doctor refers you under an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Plan or an Eating Disorder Plan (EDP), Medicare will rebate $60.34 per appointment (up to 5 appointments). The remaining balance will be an out-of-pocket expense.

  • Private Health Insurance for Dietetic Services: Depending on your level of cover, your Private Health Fund may cover part or all of your consultation costs. Please check directly with your insurer for specific rebate amounts. No referral is required for private health claims.

  • NDIS and DVA for Dietetic Services: Jiayen is a registered provider for NDIS (self-managed and agency-managed) and the Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA).
