Medicare Referrals for Dietetic Services: If your doctor refers you under an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Plan or an Eating Disorder Plan (EDP), Medicare will rebate $60.34 per appointment (up to 5 appointments). The remaining balance will be an out-of-pocket expense.
Private Health Insurance for Dietetic Services: Depending on your level of cover, your Private Health Fund may cover part or all of your consultation costs. Please check directly with your insurer for specific rebate amounts. No referral is required for private health claims.
