Hannah Boyd, naturopath at New Leaf Naturopathic Health, leading a group naturopathic session

Wait, Why Does That Happen?
Naturopathy Explained.

Your body does a lot of things that nobody ever properly explains to you. That’s what this is for.

Every month, Hannah walks you through the naturopathic take on a question that’s probably been sitting in the back of your mind,  why your period’s changed, why perimenopause is scrambling your brain, why “just eat more fibre” is more complicated than it sounds. You get the actual mechanisms, not just the advice.

These are naturopathic consults, not lectures, so alongside the education, you still get personal, one-on-one attention to your own health within the session. Naturopathy in bite-sized form: no long-term commitment, no existing treatment plan required, just an hour with people who get it. Come because you’re new and curious, or come because you’ve been meaning to ask this exact question for months.

What We’re Explaining in 2026

A different question every month. Come to one, come to all of them, you don’t need to have started anywhere else first

  • Aug 18th: Hormones, Cycles, Periods – how to have a great period!
  • Sept 15th: Help my Perimenopausal Brain!
  • Oct 13th: Fibre-maxxing for gut health.
  • Nov 10th: Avoiding End of Year Burnout
  • Dec 8th: Preparing for the Summer.

Group naturopathic session with New Leaf Naturopathic Health — Naturopathy Explained

Naturopathy Explained sessions bring a small group of people together to learn from a naturopath and receive personal care at the same time. Everyone gets naturopathic education on that month’s topic, plus individual attention to their own health needs within the session.

What’s Involved with Each Session:

  • In-person and live — this isn’t pre-recorded content to work through on your own.
  • Real naturopathic care — these are consults, not just info sessions.
  • Small, intimate groups — limited spots, so it stays personal.
  • No existing treatment plan required — these sessions work whether you’ve been coming to New Leaf for years or this is your first time.
  • Space to ask, not just listen — bring your own questions and get support specific to your situation.
  • Not recorded, for everyone’s privacy.
